Protests over new pandemic restrictions heat up

Hundreds of people in Montreal gathered to protest the Quebec government’s decision to roll the curfew back from 9:30 to 8:00 p.m. Meanwhile in Alberta, people demonstrated outside the shuttered GraceLife Church west of Edmonton, demanding that it be allowed to reopen.
