Trump supporter clashes with protesters outside court

Donald Trump will address America from the hallway of a Manhattan courthouse as he heads inside to be arrested. Protestors have clashed as the clock ticks closer to the former president’s hearing over allegations of a hush money payment made to porn star Stormy Daniels. Earlier, Mr Trump demanded a new court venue as he lashed out against the court he is due to appear in a matter of hours, saying he believes it will treat him “unfairly”. He suggested changing the venue to Staten Island, which is home to more Republican voters than Manhattan, adding that the judge is a “well-known Trump hater”. Mr Trump faces 34 felony charges for falsifying business records in relation to the alleged payments to Ms Daniels.
