FIRST Lego League 2022

Fourth and fifth graders from Running Creek Elementary and Singing Hills Elementary competed in early November at the FIRST Lego League Regional Qualifier at Regis Jesuit High School in Aurora. The teams of students started programming their Lego robots in August. This extracurricular program gives students early, hands-on experience with Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) facts, concepts and processes while also letting them learn lessons in teamwork, public speaking, problem-solving and more. The Singing Hills teams are coached by Susan McMullen and Ashlee Johnson, and the Running Creek team is coached by Sarah Siekierski and Danielle Gregory.
