Falei pro Sami que ela me trazia um mix de energia, esperança e rancor que pra mim grita ‘adolescência’ da minha e espero que a de muita gente. Contei a idéia maluca que tinha e ele topou na hora: o vídeo que fizemos juntos foi um dos projetos mais especiais da minha carreira, porque mescla imagens da uma fita Super 8 digital que eu gravei durante o ano que morei nos Estados Unidos fazendo intercâmbio - ali estão minha família, meus amigos, muita coisa pessoal - com cenas filmadas com a mesma câmera, uns 25 anos depois.
