“Are the Other Plans Secure?!“ - Marsh Family parody of Jet’s “Are You Gonna Be My Girl“ on US leak

A rather hasty Easter holiday response to the bizarre news of the US military intelligence leak – and a first chance to put Alfie through his paces since a successful heart operation in the past weeks which means he’s even better than he was before (though has been doing some online gaming...)! So here’s our parody of “Are You Gonna Be My Girl”, the retro-sounding but very pumping Australian rock track released in 2003, written by Nic Cester and Cameron Muncey. We stuck some nice vintage reverb on the girls – but had to film them stuck in the corner, for which apologies. The references are from the US-side of the pond for once, given yesterday’s arrest by the FBI in Massachusetts of the young leader of an online chat and gaming group who had leaked dozens of documents revealing US assessments of the war in Ukraine and sensitive secrets.
