In 1980 he graduated from the Cheliabinsk Art College, and from 1988 to 1993 studied at the Stroganov Art & Design Institute in Moscow. Saper Galleries is proud to introduce to the western world the exquisite oil paintings of Russian artist Victor Bykov. The 50 year old artist lives and paints in his studio in the so-called Golden Ring of Russia more than 100 miles outside of Moscow; an area of exceptional beauty. It is also one of the oldest parts of Russia with recorded history going back more than 1,000 years ago.
