Caught In The Wrong Spot! - Uluwatu - Surfing Bali, 2021

A very solid West swell brought all of Bali’s big-wave chargers out of the woodwork, and down to Uluwatu for a memorable afternoon session. Ulu’s always looks pretty sketchy on these massive swells, and the surfer in the second clip found himself in a nasty spot after having to bail on the wave before - fortunately he was totally fine after wearing the next few waves on the head. Most of the action was at Outside Corner, and as the tide dropped out a decent amount of surfers headed out there to try their luck. Everyone put on a good show, and we were treated to some amazing rides, epic wipeouts, and broken boards galore. This video features land & drone footage. Enjoy!
