Rodriquez Hydrofoils Promo 1977

Promotional VHS tape from Rodriquez circa 1977 showcasing the newly designed RHS 160 series of second generation surface piercing hydrofoil incorporating SAS, Seakeeping Augmentation System to greatly reduce pitch roll and heave motions in a seaway. The PT50/S hydrofoil shown in the opening credits and elsewhere is Freccia di Mergellina which had a cameo roll in the film Avanti and new life in Australia as the re-named “Long Reef“ in the late 70’s or early 80’s.
