This crochet pattern works great on the edge of baby blankets, afghans, shawls, scarves, and more. It is created by making a shell stitch on top of a solid double crochet border. The shells form a 3D wave or ripple effect. The stitches used in this pattern include the chain, double crochet, and slip stitch. You can use any size or weight yarn you wish.
