The beauty of bullshit planes in War Thunder

Who thought it was a good idea to even have a possibilty of taking this huge piece of bullshit into a daytime air-to-air combat? Why do they have to do this? What Can I do with my 7,7mm when american B-17s at least have a load of 12,7mm on board? Why does this exist in this game?
