We Follow an IET into the River Exe Morning Mist with a Drone

If you are a VIP member, you can watch this video with footage of what’s happening with the sea wall works today (21st September 2022). At this time of year, when the temperature drops overnight, the River Exe gives us a spectacular display that goes out as far as the eye can see. Condensation results mainly from the cold air mixing with the air that is in contact with the water surface. However, convection also occurs because the water is so much warmer than the air above. This convection causes the mixed air to rise and enhances the process of fog formation. Because of the convection, the water appears to steam. #gwr #riverexe #dawlishwarren
