Compared to the competition this is not bad at all for the price. You should not expect perfection, and the difference between my left and right wrist clearly shows there is biological variation even within a person, so there will likely also be variation from person to person. So, as always, please also check out some other reviewers for their results. Back to the Mi Band 9, what is my conclusion? Well, in terms of heart rate tracking it definitely has some issues. But, considering the price of about 50 to 60 dollars, it’s actually not that bad. We saw it was quite OK for indoor and outdoor running, and for indoor cycling it did surprisingly well. For outdoor cycling I got somewhat mixed results, but still better than expected. So, overall, if you are just starting on your wearable journey, or you are looking to upgrade from an older similar device, this is not a bad choice. Still, be aware of the limitations. Now, the sleep stage tracking on the other hand wasn’t great. I would only use this to keep track of my total time in bed, which is arguably the most important thing for people to keep track of, given that many of us are simply not giving our bodies enough time to catch some sleep. So, I would recommend the Mi Band 9 to some people, but take into account all the limitations I just mentioned. If you do decide the get a Mi Band 9, a Whoop Strap, an Oura Ring, an Eight sleep Pod 4, another device, or anything at all on Amaz
