SP-404MKII Beats Sampling Turkish Music in Istanbul

Here’s some SP-404MKII bumps I cooked up in Istanbul sampling Turkish traditional & 70’s soul music. The first two beats were filmed around the İnciburnu Feneri (lighthouse) in Kadıköy and the third at bar called Tarantula (which won my heart coz they had a Street Fighter II arcade cabinet n at 1₺ a game you can play for hours without feeling it). I was really stoked to find how deep the funk scene was in 1970’s Turkey, funny thing is everyone I talked to about it didn’t really know much of it existed n more so couldn’t imagine what part of down this stuff was being performed back then.
