Twining : Weaving Techniques for Beginners

Twining is a weaving technique used often to keep or build structure in weaving. You can also use this technique to add color and texture to your project.  Twining is created by wrapping a yarn around the „X“ of the weft and warp. Twining is also the basis of scalloping.  A full written twining tutorial on twining can be found on this blog post : For more information about scalloping: Weaving Shapes - Curves, Hills, and Lines video: The written tutorial post: Develop your weaving skills in the basics!
