It happened during the suppression of the Polish uprising of 1830-1831. On September 8, 1831, during the siege of Warsaw, the regiment was attacked by four insurgent cavalry regiments and was forced to fight with them. However, the numerical superiority of the Poles was too great. The commander of the regiment, Mj.
