Kuwaka - Roman Smirnov

“Kuwaka”, an original piece composed by Roman Smirnov in his signature style with influences of contemporary Brazilian music. Percussive elements played on the guitar are heard throughout the piece. “Kuwaka” is the name Roman’s youngest daughter once imagined for her brother, and so this song is dedicated to him. This piece won Grand-Prix in the 2021 Second International Composers Competition The Time Of The Guitar in Moscow and is soon to be published by Bergmann Edition.
