Manipur Violence: On June 17, three-time former Chief Minister of Manipur, Okram Ibobi Singh, said that “if Manipur is considered a part of India”, then Prime Minister Narendra Modi should have expressed his concern over the violent conflict that has raged in the state since May 3. Singh is part of a 10-party delegation from Manipur that has been in New Delhi waiting to meet the PM.
