8½ Glasses

As the reality, dreams and filmmaking of 8½ segue, so does the eyewear of the film’s inhabitants. Characters see life through their own eyes, the sharpened reality of corrective glass and the tinted ease of a darkened room. It’s cinematic lives seen through changing lenses; they can blur, sharpen and soothe, but without fail, they always look cool.
