Acrylic drum kits we popular in the early ’70s for their distinctive look, and they’ve had a modern resurgence recently. The cool thing is that modern production techniques make these modern acrylic kits much better-sounding than the vintage ones. This Crystal Beat kit uses molded acrylic, not rolled acrylic. This means there are no seams in the shells, for much better tone and sustain. This shell pack comes with 7“ x 10“ and 8“ x 12“ rack toms, a 15“ x 16“ floor tom, and a 16“ x 22“ kick drum.
