Where are those verses, which were carried by the voice of a legend and caressed the ears, like the verses sung by the late Dragan Stojnić? Dragan Stojnić, born in Belgrade on November 10, 1937, was one of the most important Serbian and Yugoslav chansonniers. He lived in Sarajevo, Banja Luka, Skopje and Belgrade, cities that marked him and his musical creativity, but wherever he went he always carried a song in his heart. He always wanted to become a singer, and he spent almost 40 years on stage. He studied the French language, and later graduated from the Higher School of Tourism. One of the most famous Yugoslav chansonniers died on March 19, 2003 after a long and serious illness in the City Hospital in Belgrade. He was buried on March 21, 2003 in the Alley of Meritorious Citizens at the New Cemetery in Belgrade. ---------------------------
