Last Tasmanian Tiger, Thylacine, 1933

Tasmanian Tiger, Thylacine, this is the last footage, and evidence, of a live thylacine. It died in a Hobart zoo in 1936. Some believe small populations still exist in the Tasmanian wilderness but no firm evidence has been found. It was hunted to extinction by farmers who believed it killed their young lambs and calves. Research has since shown this would be unlikely so it was hunted to extinction for nothing other than a bounty of one pound ($2 roughly) per animal
