Vertigo is a love story about two friends who have fallen deeply for each other but they don’t have the courage to rise up to tell the other how they truly feel. It paints the picture of getting so high from the love you have for someone that you get vertigo because you’re terrified of falling. Falling so madly in love or falling down to darkness so hard because you may lose that person or feeling. This is also a metaphor for peoples anxiety in striving to their goals. They get overburdened with the thought of failure which suffocates the progress in their lives. The positive side to the song is saluting those who push through towards their higher existence, despite knowing there could be excruciating growing pains along the way. When you are in love with something or someone it can feel like dancing on the edge of a cliff in the wind. This song makes me feel this way and commemorates the vulnerability that comes with it. I collaborated with ‘Morty’ on this track as his artistry brings out the emotions
