Xur is Boring - We Need The “Santa Claus of Destiny“ To Return | Destiny 2 Beyond Light

Since the launch of Destiny 2 more than 3 years ago, a ton of beloved features and characters from the original game have been left behind and exist as broken shadows of their former selves. Perhaps no character has been as neglected as our old pal Xur. The guy who used to bring such excitement to the community, you’d almost be mistaken to think he was the “Santa Claus of Destiny“, since he basically brought Christmas with him each and every weekend. Xur has improved since D2’s launch, with his weekly stock of randomly rolled exotic armor, a nice fated engram to help round out your exotic collection, and a weekly quest for an exotic cipher, which allows you to acquire missing exotic weapons from the Monument to Lost Light in the Tower. But, his usefulness ends there. There is so much more that could be done with Xur, from acting as one-stop-shop for new and returning players to help build up their arsenals, to providing an avenue for endgame players to target farm exotic armors that they truly desire.
