After Egypt had been exposed to foreign invasions, and as the cult of Osiris grew in prominence, the Egyptians equated Seth with evil and the demon Apophis. Seth was demonized and became the killer of his kind brother Osiris, and the enemy of Horus, the son of his sister Isis.
