I was never quite set on what I had planned to play in the second verse.. I knew I wanted it to be a progression/variation from what I played in the first verse with the rim clicks, but I just didn’t feel comfortable with what I had. I ended up giving the shaker a go (a la Travis Barker during the Box Car Racer days) and LOVED the feel it gave the song.
