EAST CHINA SEA (Aug. 2016) The US Navy’s amphibious transport dock ship USS Green Bay (LPD 20) fires a Mk 46 (Mk 44 Bushmaster II) 30mm chain gun and .50-caliber machine gun during a live-fire exercise. Green Bay, part of the Bonhomme Richard Expeditionary Strike Group, is operating in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations in support of security and stability in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region.
