Hello everyone! I can’t tell you how overwhelmed I felt while working on Epica’s “Rivers“. Back in January when they released it I was going through one of the hardest times of my life. I was literally crying myself to sleep every night while listening to this song. My mom was in hospital. I’m extremely grateful that I didn’t lose her back then. Now, after 8 months, I finally had the courage to let myself feel the song again. It truly is a masterpiece, Epica did such a great job with this song. Simple, powerful, epic... I hope you’ll enjoy my version as well! I’m definitely far from Simone’s greatness, but I did my best. Hugs to all of you!
