Iraqi Mob Try To Storm U.S. Embassy In Baghdad; Anger Over Nasrallah’s Death Rages | Watch
Emotions are running high in Iraq following the death of Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah. Thousands of Iraqi protesters gathered outside the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad, attempting to storm the building while clashing with security forces in riot gear. The crowd waved Hezbollah flags and held photos of Nasrallah, chanting anti-Israel and anti-U.S. slogans. Their anger stems from perceived U.S. support for “Israeli crimes“ in the region. In response, security measures have been intensified in Baghdad’s Green Zone as unrest spreads in the city.
