Bach-Busoni Prelude and Fugue in E flat “St. Anne“ David Stanhope

One of my better recordings I think, from Tall Poppies TP135. It was recorded on an Australian piano built by Wayne Stuart (see ). Some might be interested in my hieroglyphics! The X seen here and there was to remind me to release the middle “S.P.“ pedal, although the Stuart actually has four pedals - the one at extreme left is called “dolce“, raising all the hammers closer to the strings (used at beginning of fugue).
