Tuning a Concert Zither

I’ve received many emails asking how to tune a concert zither. This video can be used to complement the tuning guide on the Zither US web site, Note, the concert zither used in this video has 29 accompaniment strings, for a total of 34 with the fretboard strings. On this zither, the 29th string is tuned to C. If your zither has more contrabasses, the 29th accompaniment string would be tuned to C#, as per the referenced tuning guide.
