Mercury vs Corn Syrup

We interact two liquids with very opposite properties. I really do not know what the murky residue that can be seen following some of the droplets. It could be impurities in the mercury or simply very small air bubbles. Please feel to embed my videos anywhere. Re-uploading them creates huge problems for me. I end up spending all my free time just policing my own videos instead of spending that time making videos or replying to your comments.
