They come in many shapes, sizes, and colors, and they are all intelligent and social creatures. Some types of monkeys are more intelligent and can be tamed easily and are also very friendly. Monkeys can be categorized into two main groups: Old World and New World. New World monkeys have broad noses with a wide septum separating outwardly directed nostrils. Old World monkeys have narrow noses with a thin septum and downward-facing nostrils.
