For the past 15 years, just about every summer, I’m blessed to spend quality time with my family and friends on the north coast of Egypt. When I’m there, I get to unwind and recharge after spending months recording music in the studio beforehand. My husband who grew up in Egypt, has always had an incredibly warm community surrounding him. Year after year, they show me the most incredible hospitality and warmth whenever we go back to visit. This summer, I was so inspired to start sharing a new chapter of my music with you all. In that spirit, I ended up connecting with my dear friend, Seif Ismail, and we filmed these visuals to share with you the magical sunset and full moon that we had with us that day. The Mediterranean Sea, where this was filmed and where I met my husband 15 years ago, is just a few hundred miles away from Benghazi, Libya, where I was born.
