Oh dear. Record home defeat for Middlesbrough against an Arsenal side that was surrendering their league title to Manchester Utd. Marc Overmars opened the scoring with an early penalty before Anelka (2), Kanu (2) and Vieira completed the scoring. Alun Armstrong got one back for Boro with 3 minutes left and The Arse 6 up. Glad The Boro saved their miraculous comebacks for 7 years later! Watch out for Kanus backheel goal. Even the most fanatical of Boro fans had to applaud that one.
