nic & riley|...when an angel appears we are afraid

All I know is that I loved Midnight Mass (so of course here I am butchering the show) ’and loved Riley and wanted to try use him for something. In this video he is a vampire, but like in the show, people mistake vampires as angels. Timothee’s character Nic is turned into one too but Riley regrets it, and regrets what its turned Nic into. While Nic struggles at first and doesn’t want to be a “angel“, he soon accepts it for what it is. But Riley still ends up killing himself and believing that they should return to dust or to “nothing“, such is their fate to end up so cursed. And I imagine they both met at the AA rec meetings, much like canon for Riley and nic in their respective films having substance problems. But now struggling with another addiction.
