Although “La Mer,“ the classic, talks of white seagulls, tall wet reeds, rusty houses, and clear gulfs, “Beyond the Sea“ talks about a man and his love. This is the “original“ version of Bobby Darin’s, and I am surprised no one has uploaded a recorded version.
