A Winter’s Tale (by Queen) instrumental (double bass, guitar, organ) Božo Paradžik & Wolfgang Sieber

The last Freddie Mercury’s completed song recording session was this beautiful, sweet-bitter ballad. We perform it here as an instrumental version for classical solo double bass, church organ and electric guitars. This song has been composed in Switzerland in winter 1990/91 and also recorded in Mountain Studio in Montreux (today Queen Memorial, in Casino). Today on November 24th, 2021 is exactly 30 years since Freddie Mercury’s death, I couldn’t find a more suitable date to upload this video with his last wonderful creation. That unforgettable artist and his mates from the band Queen have composed also numerous other compositions with the harmonical structure in such high quality that they can be adapted for the classical music performance. Please check also our other two videos with Queen songs “Bijou“ and “Who Wants To Live Forever“ (composed by Brian May) with solo double bass, guitars and the pipe organ, recorded during the same sessions in February 2016.
