A small karkhana (workshop) in Ahmedabad, India where skilled artisans patiently stitch elaborate designs for exclusive designer sarees. Initially Tufan would not let me film because they were embroidering for name designers and (understandably) did not want to risk the designs being stolen. After some pleading that I was just making a personal documentary short film he eventually let me film and brought out some of their best work. He was kind, helpful and even a bit shy during the interview. For more i
