“Ghosts of the Past - Episode 4“ - SFM

Took me 5 months to make this. I guess I should address this right away – sorry for subtitles and Pyro dialogue. At the time of writing this I’m not sure how people will take this, but I was trying to avoid it as long as I could. I jumped around the issue for way too long, but some custom dialogue had to be added, to expand the storyline and make a couple of things clear. And the only character I could voice was Pyro. I tried to keep it as short as possible, though my acting performance could’ve been better. It’s very difficult to breathe when doing the VO for Pyro, so line delivery suffers. In the future GoP episodes I’ll try to avoid using it, but there might be a couple of scenes where it will be required. I hope you guys don’t mind. If you liked it thought, I plan to do an unrelated Saxxy video where I voice the Pyro too. As usually not too happy with a couple of things in this video, but I gained valuable experience. From now on I’ll start doing story boards in SFM, so that I can pace the video better. Hope you liked direct reference to one of my favorite scenes from Taxi Driver. I actually reinacted the whole scene, but since I had no Scout saying “You talking to me?!” I had to improvise. And the long action shot was inspired by MGS5 cutscenes, thought it took so long to make I doubt I’ll make anything like this any time soon. Oh and Saxxy/Frog are hidden in the video as usually. Update: I just realized that Saxxy is actually out of the frame. It’s actually right behind the sliding door on 2:06. I checked the frames and you can’t see it. :( Sorry! I messed up!
