This is a part 2 of my last AU. I know that there are some editing mistakes in this, but i just don’t have that much time to fix them. Part 1: Recolored Kovu = Malka, Mufasa’s and Zira’s son STORY: The civil war is over, Zira’s lionesses joined Simba and accepted him as the new king, but Zira didn’t do the same. She was banished from the pridelands. Simba and the whole pride grieved over Scar’s loss, Simba needed some time alone so he walked around near a lake where he saw Mufasa’s reflection instead of his. Fear and doubt struck him. What if he will turn out like his father? luckily Nala was nearby looking for him and she came to comfort him. Meanwhile in the outlands, Zira gave birth to a cub and named him Malka. Some time passed and Simba held a cremony in the pridelands where he chose Nala as his queen. After a few days while scouting Zazu saw an unfamiliar lioness with a cub, he quickly went back to priderock to warn Simba. Simba confronted this lioness which was found out to be Zira. She told Simba that she came seeking for help, not for herself, but for her cub Malka. She said that Malka is Simba’s brother, that while Mufasa was still king, Zira and him had a relationship. She begged Simba to take Malka in because there was not much food or water to keep them both alive. Simba agreed to take Malka in. One day something took over Simba’s emotions and he turned on Malka who was minding his own business. SImba was luckily able to stop himself then he saw the resemble of himself in Malka and how Simba was starting to look like his father. The same night Nala calmed Malka down and laid him down to sleep, still not confident enough Simba carefully walked near where Nala and sleeping Malka was. After Nala’s words, Simba got and idea in his head on how to get rid of that fear of him turning into his father. He decided to make Malka the future king of the pridelands. He taught Malka about everything what a king does and about circle of life, he didn’t tell Malka about his future as king right away, he waited for Malka to be more older. Malka grew up and found out from Simba that he’s going to be the future king of the pridelands and Malka was happy about it, he also found out the truth about his and Simba’s father. After hearing the true story Malka needed some time alone to get his thoughts togehter. Malka had no idea that a lioness was stalking him, that lioness of course was Zira, she recognized her only son and called out to him out of happiness. Malka of course recognized his mother and they started to spend some time togehter, but not for long, because Simba caught them. He was mad at Zira for coming back to the pridelands, Zira was ready to attack Simba, but Malka stopped her. He begged Simba to forgive Zira and let her back into the pridelands. Simba didn’t want it at first, but he knew one way or another Zira will be back because Malka will be king and he will let her in, so Simba agreed to let Zira go back. The next day the whole pride came to see that Zira was welcomed back, she apologized for her past mistakes and she understood the fact that the lionesses won’t forgive her that easily at the start, but lionesses saw that she truly meant what she said and gave her a chance. Simba nudged Malka to go and take his place and then talked Nala into leaving the pridelands with him which she agreed to do. Malka became king of the pridelands, Zira was eventually forgiven and Simba and Nala ran away to live in the Jungle where they had their daughter named Kiara.
