Dr Strange cast ‘disappointed’ over potential screening ban due to LGBT themes in Gulf nations

Benedict Cumberbatch, Elizabeth Olsen, Benedict Wong and director Sam Raimi have attended a special event in Trafalgar Square, London in the lead up to the release of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Cumberbatch and Olsen spoke of thier disappointment at rumours that Gulf countries including Saudi Arabia may be banning the film, due to references of a lesbian relationship in relation to a new character being introduced to the franchise - America Chavez.
