Bio By She Rox All Female Bands: The Pandoras, began in 1983, in Hollywood, California as a 1960’s influenced garage rock band, and gained a solid fan base with their edgy primitive garage rock sound they released one Ep, and one full length album, however numerous member changes would plaque the band leaving founder, guitarist and lead vocalist Paula Pierce the only original member left by 1984. Regrouped the Pandoras would forge ahead and by 1986 their second full length album Stop Pretending, proved to be the height of their success with it’s slicked over catchy garage pop rock sound, however issues within the band would resurface soon after the shelving and lack of record label support for their third full length album in 1987, Pierce decided an overhaul was needed and the band acquired a much more commercial hard rock sound by 1988, although the popular trend of the time in the music world, this change proved to achieve less then intended, although it open the band up to new fans, it left many di
