Numerical model of a monolithic tungsten penetrator interacting with explosive reactive armour (similar to Malachit or Relikt). The model was used to analyse the effects of detonation delay and stand-off distance with the capability to investigate a much larger range of areas.
The model uses experimentally derived penetration characteristics from Odermatt as well as incorporating flyer plate acceleration derived from Gurney & Flis.
