Full titles read: “Back from Her Sea Grave - Remarkable salvage work by U.S. Navy... sunken Submarine S.4. weighing 1,600 tons raised and drydocked.[sic]“ Provincetown, Massachusetts, United States of America. M/S of a great big mass of foam on the surface of the sea as massive floats come to the surface, followed by the top of the Submarine S.4.; several shots of the sub being raised from the seabed by the US Navy. Two boats are either side of the sub, presumably pulling it up on winch systems. L/S of a man placing a bouquet of flowers on top of the raised sub.
