Floating Village. Chiswick, London L/S Pan, boats anchored in river. L/Ss Boats (some of which sailed for Dunkirk in 1940). M/S Woman with shopping basket, gets off cycle on towpath, walks to baby in pram. T/S. Woman going away from pram and up ramp to boat. M/S Woman walking along deck and going down hatch. C/U Helm. M/S Grocer opening back of van and taking out box of goods. M/S. Woman walks down ramp, takes provisions from grocer and walks back. M/S Woman walks into cabin, followed by dog. C/U and M/S Family sitting round table, one serving meal. M/S Children at table. C/U Woman takes table mats from cupboard and towel off wall. M/S She opens oven door, takes out casserole, shuts door and walkout of picture. M/S Woman puts casserole on table. L/S Sitting room, children playing with train, woman speaking on telephone. C/U and M/S Woman bathing baby. M/S Old woman on deck pulling rope which lifts lantern to top of mast. C/U Lantern going up. C/U Woman securing rope to mast. M/S Cat on deck. M/S Woman
