Part of POINTS AND PINTS issue. Darlington, Durham. A pub landlord pulls 3 pints of beer and gives them to a waitress to serve. The waitress places the pints in front of a man sitting alone. The man looks a bit confused until the landlord comes out with a very long glass that looks like a gigantic test tube (a yard of ale glass). The landlord fills the yard of ale glass with the 3 pints.
