Dress Hire (1949)

Dress hire. Women go to Messrs. Moss Bros. Hire Department where they meet Miss Laurie Giles who proceeds to dress them for any occasion they require and supply all the necessary accessories, Connaught Gardens, London. M/S as a woman walks into the department and shakes hands with Laurie, she is looking for an evening dress. M/S as they discuss her requirements. Laurie brings out a few dresses and the lady decides on one she would like to try. C/U of her legs and feet as she steps out of her own dress in the changing rooms and into the new one. Camera pans up the long floral, strapless creation. M/S as another woman looks at suits. The original woman emerges in her evening dress and Laurie brings out accessories for her to try, she puts on a large necklace and walks away. The second woman looks at herself in the suit, Laurie brings out a long coat which the woman puts on for her job interview. Laurie gives a handbag and fur jacket to the lady in the evening dress.
