The North American debut of director Anton Corbijn’s film CONTROL took place at the Toronto International Film Festival, September 2007. The film tells the story of Ian Curtis, the enigmatic singer from Joy Division who committed suicide at the age of 23 just as the band was starting to gain a new level of popularity in 1980.
