We were lucky to get to do a video shoot at Joe Biden’s old school, The Archemere Academy in Delaware. Thanks to Katherine Ball Weir for making it happen. And Jim MacFarlane and Clay Sears for creating some videos for us to share with you. Darin Kelly is a fine trumpet player and also is on the staff at the prestigious Curtis Institute in Philadelphia. Here he plays guitar. On Cello is Maura Dwyer who often doubles on fiddle as well. Derry man Paddy O’Neill is on whistle. The fiddle phenom Haley Richardson plays some lovely supportive lines. Gabriel Donohue on guitar has played this song many times with the original performers of the song, The Chieftains. He also runs Cove Island Productions in Philadelphia and is in demand as a solo and group performer. Marian Makins, when she is not lecturing at Temple University in the classics department is a fine traditional and contemporary singer.
