Let’s Make Gajar Ka Halwa! | Makar Sankranti Special | India’s Favourite Winter Dish

To celebrate the chill of Indian winters and the festive warmth of Makar Sankranti nothing beats a bowl of universally loved Gajar Ka Halwa! A carrot-based sweet dessert pudding that keeps us warm and healthy - with benefits for our vision, immunity, skin and more. Ingredients: 250 gms carrots 25 gms cashew 3-5 gms sugar free 1/2 cup Almond milk Pinch of Cardamom powder 2 tbsp ghee Dry fruits as needed for garnish Instructions:  1.⁠ ⁠Clean and grate the carrots  2.⁠ ⁠Take a pan, and add ghee heat it  3.⁠ ⁠Add the grated carrots and cook/roast it for 7-8 mins  4.⁠ ⁠Add almond milk and cook for another 7-8 mins  5.⁠ ⁠Add the cashew paste and stir it well  6.⁠ ⁠Roast it till it starts to leave the ghee.  7.⁠ ⁠Add a pinch of the cardamom powder and top it off with the dry fruits fried in ghee.
